Solar energy is one of the key parts in the movement against global warming. If we can power things with it, we can end the use of gas and oil. There are two main ways of producing energy from sunlight: Concentrated Solar Thermal Power (CST) and Photovoltaic Power (PV). CST uses mirrors to concentrate sunlight onto a pipe containing water or a synthetic oil called Therminol. It then heats the water or Therminol to several hundred degrees. After the liquid is pumped through the complex system, a heat exchanger uses the energy to create steam, which powers an electricity-generating turbine. The second way of producing solar energy is by using Photovoltaic power. “PV”,  makes electricity directly, without using a turbine. Pomegranates come from the smaller part of the family Punicaceae, but they are a part of the larger family Lythraceae. The leaves are usually in pairs on opposite sides and the petals usually appear crumpled at the bud and wrinkled at maturity. The Lythraceae family contain s 32 genera with about 620 species of herbs , shrubs and trees . Pomegranates grow on a tree that’s about 8ft tall, they grow from a bright vibrant red flower that turns into the outer part of the shell once the stigma gets fertilized. Cows Save the Planet Summary

       Cows Save the Planet is a book by Judith D. Schwartz about how we can save our Earth from climate change.  The first thing that caught my eye about this book is the title.  It sounds humorous at first and you'd think it might be “clickbait”, but then you realize that it’s true, but not by themselves.  Judith also writes about other ways we can save the Earth from climate change like organic farming or cover crops and the facts and research about them.  The sub-title on this book is “and other improbable ways of restoring soil to heal the Earth” which means that most of these ideas are unlikely but possible.  Judith writes about how, in order to actually heal the Earth, we need to imitate the way Nature has been using carbon for millions of years.  Mob-grazing is one of those methods, and that is where the title comes in.          The book discusses that 97% of cows are kept in feedlots.  That is w...
